Wine Between Climate Crisis, Technology, and Tradition – Sicily as an Open-Air Laboratory

“We have learnt to engage with one another, even when starting from different positions. The aim is not to prevail over one another, but to build shared solutions that work for everyone,” says Alberto Tasca, president of the SOStain Sicilia Foundation, to Marta Abbà on Fair Planet.
Faced with the challenges of the climate crisis, Sicilian viticulture is demonstrating how tradition, innovation and collaboration can coexist. Through dialogue between wine producers, scientific research and new technologies, Sicily is proving itself to be an open-air laboratory for sustainability.

Christmas of conscious choices

🎄 Christmas is a time for gifts, but also for choices that can make a difference.

Have you ever considered what the true cost of products is? How much do we pay for the environmental and social impact of producing goods and services?

At SOStain, we are committed to minimising negative impacts by promoting sustainable practices throughout the wine supply chain, because we believe that value comes from respect and responsibility.

This Christmas, give (and treat yourself to) awareness: choose those who protect people and the environment.

Season’s greetings from all of us 💚
